Day 1 - London, Here We Come! (6 May 2016)

After careful packing, we are finally ready to head off to KLIA at 6.45am in the morning. Kudos to my dear wife who stayed up the whole night organizing the luggage. Proud of my ladies that we managed to planned the packing so that our stuff can fit snuggly into a car for easy travels. Finally, after years of deliberation (and day-dreaming), we are now really, really going to visit the Lims in Windsor!

Had a bit of seating allocation scare when we checked-in because of the full flight on MH004 (one of our seats was separated!). However, because we reserved early in January - all things were sorted out. First time flying on the A380 - did not feel much different though - appreciated the availability of the power plug point at the passenger seat. In addition, a direct flight of 13 hours to London is a real convenient treat. Started writing my book on organization culture.

 

 

 

Touch down in London - after a few movies, two main means, a tour of the A380 upper deck and a bit of schoolwork, we touch down safely at Heathrow! Tired but excited!

 

Yes, Mr.Lim Boon Liang - such a joy to see a familiar face in a foreign land!
